This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how a company is built from the inside. You will have a front-row seat to decision-making and the chance to develop skills across operations, strategy, business development, and leadership. The right candidate will see this as a long-term investment in their career and an opportunity to grow with the company.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic extension of the CEO, helping prioritize time, initiatives, and decisions
- Manage scheduling, meeting preparation, follow-ups, and executive communications
- Attend internal and external meetings, providing clear summaries, insights, and action items
- Help track progress across key initiatives and ensure accountability
- Support business development efforts, including research, outreach preparation, and follow-up
- Assist with investor, partner, and advisor communications as needed
- Prepare briefs, presentations, and internal documents for leadership and stakeholders
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities and proactively propose solutions
- Take on ad hoc projects that evolve as the company grows
Qualifications
- Graduate student or graduate degree preferred (MBA, MPA, JD, or related fields are a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, startups, finance, operations, policy, or similar environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Ability to think strategically while also executing tactically
- High degree of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and learning on the fly
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and do the work
