Director of B2B Marketing

The Role

As the Director of B2B marketing you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the company’s next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for crafting and executing a cohesive DTC marketing strategy across all markets where the business operates, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy and vision for all operational markets
    • Set the vision and strategy for the marketing function to align with organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a global team of high-performing marketing professionals and content writers.
    • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and innovation within the marketing team.
  • Marketing Operations & Branding:
    • Oversee all marketing operations, ensuring consistent messaging, branding, and communications that reflect the company’s tone of voice.
    • Ensure day-to-day marketing activities align with the broader strategic vision.
  • Market Insights & Innovation:
    • Direct market research to stay ahead of emerging trends and inform strategic decisions.
    • Leverage in-app user behaviour and industry data to drive informed marketing strategies, optimize advertising and measure effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Legal, Payments and Sales, to ensure unified efforts.
    • Align marketing initiatives with product development and business development goals.
  • PR & Strategic Partnerships:
    • Build and maintain a strong network of strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s public relations
  • Implementation & Tactical Oversight:
    • Develop a robust marketing plan, and content calendar and oversee its execution to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
    • Optimize digital ads and ad spending.
    • Drive user conversion in app
    • Manage Wellth’s social media pages and content.
 

About You

You are a visionary marketing leader with a proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Your strategic mindset and ability to drive global marketing initiatives make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • At least 8 years in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within a fast-growing start-up.
    • Demonstrated experience taking a fintech app from GTM strategy to launch onboarding a minimum of 20k users.
    • Previous experience managing Salesforce CRM preferred but not required.
  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Demonstrated successfully building and leading global marketing teams.
    • Experience driving organic campaigns for fintechs is highly preferred.  Technical & Analytical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of online marketing, e-commerce, social networking, and digital ecosystems.
    • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and leveraging insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • A creative mindset paired with strong analytical capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
    • Self-reliant, results-driven, and adept at solving complex challenges.
